Kabaka Comforts Traders After Katwe Market Fire

Kabaka Ronald Mutebi visited Katwe Market on Sunday, offering consolation to traders devastated by the Nabambulira fire that erupted two nights ago.

The fire, which tore through the market on land traditionally under the Kabaka’s jurisdiction, destroyed goods worth millions of shillings, including cultural and traditional items.

After meeting traders, the Kabaka continued to Namirembe, where members of the church received him warmly.
